Aloe Vera
Aloe vera is a type of thorny plant that comes from dry areas on the African continent. However, aloe vera is also easily found in Indonesia. It has been known and used for thousands of years because of its extraordinary properties and benefits. Even though it is not a native Indonesian plant, it can actually grow well in our country, even in West Kalimantan Province, especially in Pontianak City which adapts much better than in other places.
Aloe Vera Nutrient Content
Aloe vera contains vitamin A in the form of beta-carotene, vitamin C, and vitamin E which are rich in antioxidants. Aloe vera also contains 8 enzymes (aliiase, alkaline, phosphatase, amylase, bradykinase, carboxypeptidase, catalase, cellulase, lipase, and peroxidase). Thus, aloe vera also contains minerals, namely calcium, chromium, copper, selenium, magnesium, manganese, potassium, sodium and zinc. Plants that store water also contain monosaccharides (such as glucose and fructose) and polysaccharides (such as glucomannan).
