Wungu Leaf (Purple Leaf)

Wungu leaf is a herbal plant that is known to treat hemorrhoids. It is a medicinal plant from Papua New Guinea and Polynesia which later spread to Indonesia. some Indonesian people are usually called handeuleum leaves. The characteristics of wungu leaves or handeuleum leaves (Graptophyllum hortense) are shrubs or small trees with a height of 1.5-3m. The skin and leaves are slimy with an unpleasant odor. Wungu plants are often found growing wild in the countryside or planted as ornamental plants and hedge plants.
