Bay Leaf
Bay leaf is a spice plant that is easy to grow. Syzygium polyanthum that's its Latin name, a medium-sized plant and can reach a height of 30 meters. Salam plants are spread in primary and secondary forests, from the coast to plains with an altitude of 1000 m (Java), 1200 m (Sabah) and 1300 (Thailand). This tree originates and grows widely in Southeast Asia, such as Burma, Indochina, Thailand, the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, Kalimantan and Java. In Indonesia, bay trees grow in gardens, people's yards, and other agroforestry areas for their leaves.
