Ginger Emprit (White Ginger)
Ginger Emprit is one of the local Indonesian variants of ginger which is also better known as white ginger or sunti ginger. The scientific name of emprit ginger is Zingiber officinale var. Amarum. Morphologically emprit ginger has differences with the other two varieties of ginger. Generally, this white ginger has a smaller size than the other two types of ginger, the aroma is not as strong as red ginger, and has a pale grayish brown rhizome skin.
